This survey is intended to solicit feedback on the City of Vancouver’s Draft
Annual Energy & Carbon Reporting and Greenhouse Gas Intensity Limits How-To-Guide and
Greenhouse Gas Intensity Limits Reference Manual. These documents are intended to assist large building owners, managers, and building industry professionals on navigating the steps required to meet the reporting requirements for buildings subject to GHG-intensity limits and heat energy limits under the Annual Greenhouse Gas and Energy Limits By-law. The How-To-Guide also includes additional steps that the building owners need to take to complete their reporting in the year 2027 and beyond. The reference manual helps in understanding how the greenhouse gas intensity and heat energy intensity are calculated for different building types.

Feedback collected through this questionnaire will be used by City staff to finalize the Guide and Refence Manual. A summary of the feedback received and how the City used it will be circulated by email to all respondents who provide an email address, when the final guide is published.
