About this event

The City of Vancouver is now accepting grant applications for the 2022 Greenest City Grant. This year, the grant program has been updated with a few changes.

The Greenest City Grant program offers grants for place-based, community-driven initiatives that help advance sustainability, including the City of Vancouver’s Climate Emergency Action Plan, while advancing equity in our city. Through these grants, we hope to foster sustainability leadership and collaboration, create opportunities for innovation, and mobilize community in taking collective action on climate throughout Vancouver, with a specific focus on addressing inequities and under-represented groups.

We strongly recommend that first-time applicants and those with questions about the application process attend the Greenest City Grant Workshop. The goal of the workshop is to help you prepare for the best application and City staff will be able to take questions to help with the following:

  • Background information on the Greenest City Grant program
  • Tips to strengthen your application (e.g. clarification on goals and deadlines)
  • Answer questions on projects and the application form, including support on requirements
  • The Climate Emergency Action Plan

You will receive a link to join the workshop in Webex via email after you have registered.
