Imagine West End Waterfront

Community Advisory Group - Application Questionnaire

Shape the future of the West End waterfront

The Vancouver Park Board and the City of Vancouver are planning for the future of the iconic Salish Sea oceanfront parks, beaches, and streets that stretch between Burrard Bridge and Stanley Park.

We are currently recruiting participants for a Community Advisory Group that will provide input and guidance on the development of the engagement process and a concept plan for the West End waterfront.

What will the Community Advisory Group do?
Community Advisory Group members will provide input and feedback on the development of the Imagine West End Waterfront project process and conceptual plan.

The Community Advisory Group is expected to meet at least five times between October 2021 and spring 2023 when the project is expected to wrap up. Specific roles and responsibilities are described in the Terms of Reference.

The Community Advisory Group will be made up of people with diverse perspectives and experiences who have strong community connections and have an interest in the project and the topics it will explore. It will represent West End community members, business owners, community organisations and other stakeholders, and include community members from across Vancouver who visit and spend time in the area.

We welcome applicants with diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous peoples, Black and persons of colour, all genders and gender identities, and persons with disabilities.

How can I apply?

2. Complete this online Application Questionnaire by Tuesday, September 21.
